About the Legal Aid & Public Defenders Division

	The Legal Aid and Public Defender Division is meant to provide a continual link between the Public Defender's offices and the Legal Aid offices of North Carolina. We are proud that these two vital organizations of the North Carolina judicial system have found a home within our "walls." As we continue to expand and develop this Division, we encourage you to let us know your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. We look forward to providing continuing legal education as well as a thorough document bank, an active listserv, and a full PD and Legal Aid directory for easy referrals to you throughout the next year.
